How to turn ON/OFF Fast Startup


Basically, you need this feature when you are going to make your system dual boot.
To turn ON/OFF fast start-up just follow the steps given below:

Open Control Panel, then select 'Power Option' in the Control Panel

On clicking the power options, a window will open as shown in the picture. In the left pane of the window you will see the various options like Control Panel, Require a Password on wake up, etc. Select option 'Choose what power buttons do'  as shown in the picture given below:


Then, select option 'Change settings that are currently unavailable'

After this you will be able to see the 'Turn on fast startup' option, check or un-check that option according to your requirements.
